The combo combines a CarbonX three layer balaclava (complete with a specially designed breathing chamber) and Paulson Arc Goggles.This is a great alternative to the traditional “bee-keeper” helmet that some electricians find cumbersome and limiting to their visibility.
This combination is NOT classified under the CSA Z462 or the NFPA70 E standards because the concept has not yet been added to their list of approved headgear. The combo tests at over 45 cal/cm.
